I'm in NSW Australia. Today I opened the work DJI drone box, hoping to fly the Phantom 4 Pro with RTK.
Batteries on RC and drone are all fully green (charged)
RC solid green light shows connection to drone.
Compass calibrate is complete.
However, both GPS lights however after warm up (amber) then flash green, then faster green. So far so good...

Next they flash (slow 6 times green and then a slow red) x repeating in this cycle.
The drone motors do not start. RC appears not connected.
Possible issues:
RC not connected via micro cable to DJI GO App. I've flown a drone before without this mobile device connection.
RTK base station is not being used. This is something new to me and may / may not be important.

Any advice is appreciated.

Dear readers - I made a stupid mistake. DJI uses GeoFence and I did not appreciate this. Once I was outside the no-fly zone of the nearby aerodrome (3NM) the issue vanished and the drone flew !
