This question might be very amateaurish for you, but it's the first time I'm using a mobile gimble... thus need help in figuring out What the screw option on the DJI OM4's Mount head for?

Hello there shivamanvi. Thank you for reaching out and for this inquiry. The said screw option on the DJI Osmo Mobile 4 is called the M3x0.5 Screw Hole. As col4bin posted on post #2 this screw hole can be used to attach counterweights when using a non recommended mobile device on your DJI Osmo Mobile 4. Thank you.
