Shot from my Mavic Mini, this splendid view of Beverley Minster in East Yorkshire, United Kingdom. I don't get out enough with this drone, far from professional but boredom made me get out and film it.

Very nice views, but be aware of flight restrictions in such areas. It's about 25 years since I last visited the minster, and I have a recollection of a large aircraft, used as a museum, in a field nearby.  A Blackburn Beverley, was it?  I didn't catch a glimpse of it in your video. Maybe it is long gone?  Thanks for the share.

Excellent footage - just be mindful that you are not allowed to fly within 150m of built up or congested areas and within 50m of people/vehciles/buildings not in your control in the UK - I'm sure you don't want a copper tapping you on the shoulder

Hi, thank you for your message. The Beverley Blackburn if I am right ended up at Fort Paull. Sadly this museum has gone into liquidation and the plane (if its the same one) sold at auction for around £20k. It is now heading somewhere near York..

As for flying in this area, that is the beauty of the Mavic Mini, small and light and is able to get away with flying in more confined places unlike the Phantom and other drones. I am well aware of the 500' rule but its down to sensibility and safety. Beautiful photo's and video's from a very small drone.

Thank you for your kind comment. I always have safety in mind and thank you for noticing this. That is the beauty of this very small and light drone. It doesn't need registering and if it fell out of the sky, I doubt it would do much damage.

You're welcome - do note that whilst you don't need to register it you must still follow the UK CAA drone code as with any drone.

I haven't been online on this site for some time because my drone got destroyed by a motorists who deliberately ran over it on an empty road and promptly drove off. I have not replaced it.
