Does this only affect the Android version of the DJI Fly app ???
At first I was quite shocked because I only noticed the error after I had manually updated the Smart Controller to the Fly App 1.1.9 ...
At the top right of the display of the Fly App you can always see 5 white bars, under the symbol "RC", no matter how far the MA2 is actually from me and regardless of whether it will lose the radio connection soon ...
Up to version 1.1.6 you could see a continuous decrease in the number of these bars if the flight distance increased or other (electromagnetic) interference was present ...
From 3 bars their color was "orange" ...
So you were always "warned" in good time if the distance to MA2 was too great, a very, very useful display!
I then reset the app to 1.1.6 in the Smart Controller (... this can be done very easily in the SC because this version 1.1.6 always remains in the firmware!).
Then this - for me very interesting and important - display of the RC signal works again ...
So I thought that the SC doesn't "take" the manual update so well ...
Therefore the experiment with the original RC of the MA2 and version 1.1.9.
Same behavior! Version 1.1.9 (at least in the Android version) no longer shows the RC signal correctly ... !!! Always 5 white bars ...
Exactly the same behavior in connection with the Mavic Mini and the RC supplied there. Since 1.1.9 always 5 white bars, no more "early warning" if the connection is bad ...!
Can this behavior be checked by other users, please?
Preferably in connection with an Android smartphone - or with the Smart Controller ...
The request to DJI:
Surely it is an important functionality that shouldn't just be lost ...
The display of the remaining storage capacity on 1.1.9 is "nice", but the RC signal display was much, much more important ...
