And just did three back-to-back flights with the new one and all went really well

it really helps, that the MA2 is relatively quiet, nice shots!

Indeed! After 4 years, 2 months flying 12 drones 2,500 miles without any outdoor incident it finally happened...

Thought I would do a final manual orbit around the deer herd at the end of my last flight and didn't think the single tree stood there just 500' in front of me was in the trajectory of the flight path. The screen started to fuzz so I thought it was a transmission error then I released the drone had crashed and due to an 'attitude error' so I thought it was an IMU failure.

Ooh blimey,  I missed that you crashed.   Any pics of the dead drone?

No mate - it's boxed up ready for the skip with the RC being sold and two batteries already sold for £130 to ease the cost of the new one so back to three batteries which is more than enough for me.

One of the gimbal motors smashed off, the gimbal snapped in half leaving the camera hanging by a wire with a scratched lens, the rear arms were cracked and the motors buckled with an attitude warning denoting the IMU was broke - total write off.

Got my new one on Saturday. Cool thing I noticed with the new one is that the internal fan doesn't come on while the IMU is calibrating unlike the previous one and the arms don't click when you unfold the drone. The gimbal protector also seems easier to remove - looks like there have been some light improvements on the recent batches as my previous one was from the first batch in May.

No it doesn't - I think those who say their EU model has ADS-B probably bought it from a US supplier and imported it into the EU.
