When I use my osmo action in water the sound on the microphone is muffled and unclear. After it has been out of water for a while it goes back to normal. What can I do about this and is it something I should get fixed?

I think this is normal Ellie, i suppose you can shake the camera to get the water out of the MIC faster.

You are braver than me, i would not out my OA in the water without a waterproof housing, despite what dji claim it can do without a housing.

Okay, I'll keep that in mind. But basically once its out the water the sound will be bad until it dries?

agree sound is limited, works best a a quiet less windy day.

I've had mine in the pool a couple of times. I don't recall the audio being bad for more that a few seconds to be honest. Maybe a minute tops. But like I said, I've only had mine in the water a couple of times. It would be normal for the audio to be distorted until the water cleared from the mic/mic port.

may be if you use some waterproof material to wrap it it might help
