Hello,

Does anybody know a way to control the Zenmuse H20 camera and gimbal separately from the drone control, without a second controller? Like with an iPad. While the other person uses a smart controller to fly the drone.

Hi ggrey, you could connect a mobile device to the Smart Controller, and then control the gimbal by dragging the camera view in the mobile device. But in this situation, there would be no live view in the Smart Controller, that is, the pilot cannot see the camera view when flying the drone.

The USB-A port in the RC is used to connect an external device, please be noted it doesn't support iPad at the moment.
The recommended mobile device is Samsung Galaxy tab s6, Xiaomi Pad 4, HuaweiM3、M5、M6.

Since there is no live view in the Smart Controller, it would be very dangerous for the pilot, we do not recommend to do this for the safety concern. Please use a second controller if you would like to control the drone and the gimbal separately.
