Not because I don't want it, but I think it won't support my D750.
And even if it does, it has be be a .. of a price to win the 'not needing' vs 'wanting' debate.

Well, just the gimbal is not that expensive I think.
Starting at 499 or so.
But with some acc it will add up.

I hope I don't need to - I will go .... nuts if I crash again. I've updated everything, refreshed on Assistant 2, charged to 100%, calibrated everything - complete set up by the book. Done 4 test flights and no glitches. Now it's time to properly rebuild my confidence. It feels like getting behind the wheel of a car after a motor accident

I think it will feel exactly the same.
I had a big one a couple of years ago where a car lost a complete wheel and I could not avoid it because it was between other traffic.
Man.
That sound and feeling was horrible.
Took me weeks before I felt comfortable in the car again.

Wow - sorry to read that Peter - it must have been a nightmare. A car drove into the side of me on my driving test - I passed as the instructor complimented me on how I handled the situation and it was totally the others drivers fault (drove straight through a give way).

I thought about 4, mainly for holiday purpose (when I'm out flying for a longer time)
But so far it never came to a point where I pulled that trigger.
And right now I won't.

I heard yesterday they will proceed with the new regulations from 31-12 this year (at least in NL).
Even though there is a lot unclear right now (and they did not have answers to the questions that were asked)
So it looks like I might need a 'licence' to fly after this year.
Not sure if I will go that route. It will depend on the cost of it.
