My MA battery has decided to do it’s own thing for no apparent reason. The two centre LEDs are permanently illuminated and the battery cannot be switched off.

I have left it to completely discharge and then attached it to the charging dock. It responded with normal charging indications. However, following the charging cycle I disconnected the battery and the LEDs went back to indicate only the two centre lights only.

The LEDs do not show state of charge when the ON/OFF switch is depressed. And, again the unit cannot be switched off at all.

When installed in the drone the Mavic comes alive as usual.

Anyone have any idea what’s occurring here?

The solid green of the middle two LEDs means the battery firmware update failure, please connect to DJI Assistant 2 to refresh the firmware and check whether the issue persists.

That does seem to have solved the battery problem.
