I can image.
I printed one on polystyreen  1200 x 90cm
(no typo, it is that big)
We use it as a background for a model railroad layout.
It was a composite of 2 panoramic images shot with my DSLR

I think they print on a huge sticker and stick that on the material.
We had a company do this.

Ah,  OK.   We use a wood frame and then have it stretched over the top here.

We have that too when we use canvas, but for this project the hard material was more durable / portable. (we take the whole lot on tour every now and then)
