Indeed.
The only 3 things I ever borrowed money for were my study and our houses

Mortgages and cars only for me. Though the cars get paid off quickly and I've made bucket loads on property

I was lucky enough to get a lease car from every company I have worked for so far.
And my wife's car was bought from savings.....

For us that is not very economical to do.
Since we pay via taxes and that costs less compared to getting the money (just the percentage that you pay income tax)
Some companies have different ways, (private lease) but this is better for me.

Most major cities are similar - London is going into a higher Covid tier this weekend - no longer able to visit families

We have a semi lockdown from last night.
A lot is closed in the evenings.
Masks are advised (soon mandatory) in public spaces etc.etc.

Honestly, the world economy can not sustain all of these lock downs - business is going under. In my very honest, personal opinion - we should all continue as normal with a bit of common sense and if you get it then fingers crossed. More people will die from poverty, financial deprivation and depression than the virus if things continue as they are. Massive argument against all of that of course but thats my opinion. I can't visit a member of my family but my son can go to nursery and I can go to work in an office with hundreds of people. It doesn't make sense.
