UK Reminder time - CAA Registration Renewals are now starting to become due again,  another £9 needed to renew with the CAA.   Hardly seems like a year since it was brought in.

Renewing your operator ID

You can renew at the My registration area at:
https://register-drones.caa.co.uk/my-registration

You’ll need your email address and date of birth to log in, and a credit or debit card to pay the renewal charge of £9.

Your renewal will last for 12 months from the current expiry date as long as you renew before your operator ID expires.

Yeah, I passed the flyer ID in November but didn't register as sold my Inspire and gave up flying before the law came into effect. I registered the day I bought my first MA2 back in May. But good reminder as most will be up for renewing over the next month or two.

There seems to be a bug in the renewal page, my birth month is July, so 07 but it comes back as there was a problem, when I look at the entered information the 0 has been deleted, tried several times.

Theres another bug too,  once you do login there's no option to renew.  lol

Sounds like there is no renewal system and you'll have to simply register again from scratch - I hope not too many permenantly marked their operator ID's on their drones as that will obviously change.

OK so I've sorted the birth month problem,  I'd used a different email address, lol silly me,
But as you say no option to renew/pay.

Good,  not just me then,  I also tried the renew link from their homepage but that did the same thing.

Hi guys,
I've just renewed and paid my caa registration, all is now working as it should.
Registration number is the same but the receipt email tells me the number is likely to change when I renew next year.

All renewed too,  very quick and easy.  The new number seems to be about new legislation,  I wonder what rules are changing again.
