Here're the photos of how my iPhone 11 Pro looks like on OM3. Is that called balanced? Seems like the phone is facing slightly downward. As you can see, I've moved the vertical slider all the way to the top to keep it balanced.
No, its not normal ,motor cant handle that weight, so you need counterweight like Ulanzi PT-4 ,and put it at the back. Or you can use home made fix like shown here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UYBCMqyqNLw&t=1s
You need to centralise the phone in the jaws, in the vertical axis. With the phone balanced centrally, hold the back of the arm and move both the jaws and phone up to have an equal gap at the rear. Hope that makes sense ? Not sure about counter weights on IPhone as I use an Android S8+. Good luck.

Kindly please try to balance the said mobile device ( iPhone 11 Pro ) with out the case attached to the mobile device for us to be able to isolate the said issue.
