But I agree, we did make a taxation based on current state and renovated state to see what money we could invest before 'losing' money on resale value.
So we know we are doing it for both causes

My sister and brother in law are (slowly) building a new home.
Today we took everything out of the first floor of their old home because they are going to use some of the beams and wood from there.
So a lot of demo. First rough work, later I had to take it slow because the wood is going to be re used.
Lovely day.
I feel my muscles.
