My RC was unable to connect to my mavic mini aircraft after just 20 minutes of flying. It is practically brand new and we tried everything.We tried:
- turning on and off both RC and aircraft multiple times
- tried a different phone
- tried to update firmware on RC (with DJI assistant with PC).
- tried to update firmware on aircraft (not successful, cause aircraft could not connect to PC despite numerous attempt with different usb cables)

We are so confused what else we need to do.
This is ridiculous. we used it for the first time today, and this happened.
Can you advice what we can do? Thanks

I use my iPhone Xs Max and I tried it with my husband’s iPhone 11. Still didn’t work. And we tried to connect the aircraft to our PC Windows 10 trying to see if the firmware needs to be updated. We could not connect it to the PC either

Green and red lights blinking alternatively on the drone indicates that you are located within a restricted geo zone which would either prevent take off or limit altitude etc. However, it would not interfere with the set up of the drone in terms of downloading and installing firmware.

Hate to say it but I think you have a defective drone and need to take it back and get it replaced ASAP.

You're welcome and good luck with it. If it is a new purchase you should be able to get it replaced with a brand new.
