Hi! We own and use frequently the original DJI RONIN-S and also the original DJI FOCUS.
To power the motor we use this cable:

Is the connection to the gimbal still available?
Or there no chance we will be able to use this focus motor any more with the new gimbal?

Hi there, RS2 doesn't the original DJI Focus, it has its own Focus Motor, please check the details here: https://store.dji.com/product/ronin-focus-motor

The S/SC/S2/SC2 have never had that connection as far as I am aware no?

Either way, on the new ones, all the plugs are USB-C, there are no other plugs.

unless they hid the connection in a usb-c port. It does have plenty of pins after all. One of the USB-C ports IS labelled RSS after all. I just have no idea how its being implemented.

The RS2 seems pretty damn expandable to me. Not perfect, but quite a lot of room for growth.
