I used the assistant to update the Mini RC to the latest 01.00.0500 and when the RC is on i get a constant beeping that wont stop. i down grade the RC to 01.00.0400 and there is no beeping. whats going on??

to be clear the update was successful. i reboot the RC and just constant beeping that wont stop. only way to stop it is to downgrade back to 01.00.0400

I never use the DJI assistant to do updates. I always do it via the Aircraft and RC and wifi to the smartphone. Not had problems that way so far.

i tried that way too. same conclusion.  when the RC is updated to the latest FW and on its just constant beeping. app is latest update, Aircraft on and latest update.

got it figured out. had to calibrate the RC

Hello there TruGreen. I am sorry to know that you are having these issues before with your DJI Mavic Mini and it is great to know that after you have calibrated the remote controller of the said DJI drone the issue was resolved. Have a safe and a happy flying always.

yea was just so random since the update was successful... and there was no on screen warnings. just a constant annoying beeping that wouldnt stop
