I just bought my DJI Ronin S and everytime I try to remove the Battery from the Motors it is so hard. Like I have to use extrem force to do it. Is this normal? I can't imagine that this is normal.

Hi Suehotom, sorry for the inconvenience caused, will it hard to mount the battery to the gimbal? It should be easy to remove the battery as long as the knob is toggled to unlock. May we have a picture of the gimbal and battery interface?

Hi Matt, if the issue is exactly the same as the OP, you may need to send the unit back for diagnosis and service. You can also provide a video of your case for a double-check first.

Hi Susan, I have the same problem, when I assemble my Ronin-s I have an immense difficulty to dismount later, it is necessary to make a huge force and I can't always do it, all this with it unlocked.
I live in Brazil and need the equipment to work, how can we proceed?

If you are having issues removing the battery you will probably notice that the locking lever does not move all the way across. The problem with both these issues is that the locking lever has been incorrectly fitted on its splines. The lever only moves halfway and when you unlock the lever it does not correctly release the locking cam. The solution is to move the locking lever to the correct place on the splines. When you so it allows the lever to move fully left and right. This allows the battery to be removed without a struggle. The full description is at the bottom of the post I linked to below. It took me 10 minutes and the lever moves fully now and the battery releases easily. It's not a design issue. It's actually a simple assembly issue.
