Was flying today with my Mini and because of the wind I lost it and only thing that remained is the video and flight log. Can someone help identifying the exact location if I provide the flight log?

Did you try to find it with the "Find my Drone" function, which activates the buzzer and flashing lights?

In the interests of research, I tried it out back in France, just after I got the Mini. Left it in a field and walked off, then activated the feature. It was audible at 100 metres and the App faithfully recorded its location. Flashing light were invisible in the grass at 100 metres of course, but were blinking as I approached the location and the drone came into view.

Mine guided me straight to the oak tree that I crashed into - only to find my MA2 smashed up! Oh well, at least that worked

I hadn't for over 4 years until the Wednesday 7 October. That's why I bought another on the 10th and have been test flying it.

I've still got the old one (thanks to 'find my drone') but the camera looks like an eyeball hanging out of the socket! It's packed up now waiting to be taken to the skip!

A rather ignominious end for such a great machine

Indeed it was - over 100 flights, 400 miles in flight distance and not even a damaged prop then that happened - took 4 seconds and down it came. I couldn't have planned it!

Nope. My reaction to my crash was ( apart from the initial expletives) "how did I manage that?"

I initially thought the drone was hit by a bird or malfunctioned - it was just one tree stood 400 odd feet in front of me - the odds of hitting it in a manual orbit... As I say, I couldn't have planned it

Guys, the drone was lost and by doing the investigation it seems that it went 2,5km away and tried to climb 434m up high for the RTH.
