I know the H3-3D will work, but I don't want to buy one of those only to find an H4 is released a couple of weeks later.

The H3-3D is an excellent gimble for the money. It seems DJI are shifting to more of their own proprietary hardware, so it's doubtful they will be integrating the GoPro's into the future gimble models.

We re working on to integrate GroPro 4 into our gimbal product line, just stay tuned.

some ppl already using the GP4 with the H3-3D, what is the benefit from a dedicated H4-3D Gimbal? Do you implement the gopro port this time and provide something like remote shutter. For example the S1 switch at fail save position could be used for a remote shutter function instead of fail safe. This way P2 Gopro users could make pictures and frame easily with the FPV monitor. Maybe the P2 remote controller has a sercret 8th channel at the back
