A pleasant evening sunset yesterday. Just the one flight to finish testing my new MA2 after calibrating everything - all went perfectly.

So it seems! You calibrate it every time now?

I did one of my very first flights around that tree back in 2016. I always fly there to test drones

No, just out the box. But I had a few little glitches flying it Tuesday so I refreshed the FW using Assistant 2 For Mavic on the AC and RC then calibrated everything by the book. Took it out last night to test it properly and got nearly half an hour flight time and not a single glitch. Makes a change - from flying into oak trees at 20MPH, missing a bird of prey the size of a pterodactyl by a few feet and having to land the drone to reboot it so active track will work - it was refreshing to have a normal flight with no drama!

It's one of the few places in London (albeit at it's most northern point) where there is nobody around! Perfect spot for flying a drone.

Not something I do often (if ever). I tend to find fiddling around with the drone can often cause more harm than good. Just fly it but I think my done needed it (or it may have been the gusts and my paranoia after the crash). Sorted now.

Open land is very precious - we keep building and building on it - I'm half expecting all of those fields in these stills to be covered in concrete in my time.
