In the video at 10 seconds in, the model shown updating is the Mavic 2 Zoom ( The model I have). Does this infer that I should expect the update, even though your title states that it's for the Enterprise series? TIA.

I think the video is a standard illustration of how to update FW on the Mavic 2 series - they have just used the Zoom for the demonstration. The FW will only be for the drone/s noted in the release notes.

Yeah seems likely AJ. The last update was only in July after all.
I quite like that - means they got most of it right when they did the last one. I recall the original Mavic Pro having about 4 FW updates in one-month!! I spent more time updating it than flying it some weeks

The only glitch I currently have with the M2Z is, I have to calibrate the compass at EVERY start-up, no matter where I am. But since it only involves me dancing round in a circle a couple of times, it's easily remedied

Hahahaha - after refreshing the MA2 and doing the calibrations it performed perfectly yesterday evening. Properly sorted now.

Trouble with that dance is, it resembles a red-Indian rain dance - and it appears to work! Rain again today

I have seen so far that the updates that get pushed to these versions will soon come to the M2 series like the range extension etc

Hi Suren. I can wait for that Extra range isn't really necessary for me personally, but if it means better signal at medium range that's a bonus.

Range is not all given that the world is clamping down on us but yes the stability that the extra range brings is what counts

What extra range are you guys talking about? The extra range has already been implemented in the current Marvic 2 v01.00.0670 firmware published on 2020.07.07.

Connect your drone and in Pilote app change to video recording, go in to settings and change the resolution 1920*1080 and you will have it working. It even works in photo for me to use the zoom.
Has anyone found where in the app one can extend the time before the batteries self discharge? Illogical to have a SAR tool that needs to be charged before use. Thanks

As stated above once in the correct format the level of zoom is controlled using the back wheel on the right of the controller. I don’t know how using the smart controller.

Please return me to the settings of the 5D button switching the thermal palettes and switching the camera down-center or make it so that I can choose which options are available for the 5D button. Add the camera rotation to the 5 D left-right button.
