Well,  if the iphone 12 wasnt sooooo much more expensive maybe it would be good advice, but I think this review misses the point,  tell me if Im wrong.

But it still cannot compensate for fast movement like a gimbal due to the limited movement range.

Like many, I use my phone as my ad hoc camera for everyday situations.  However, I use my phone for so many different tasks, I hate using it as a primary video device.

So if I know there's a chance I'll be creating any sort of content, I'll always take another camera.  The Pocket fits that bill in many situations.  I'm a PC guy and the workflow of getting media off of the iPhone is frustrating!  Also, there are some creative things you can do with a gimbal that just aren't possible with a phone or any other non-gimbaled camera.

I'm really looking forward to playing around with the new Pocket 2 and the changes they've made from the original version.  It looks to me like they've improved most of the aspects that I didn't like about the original version.

Same here and I can arguably get the OP1 ready to shoot faster than getting my phone off my belt and then selecting video mode as I usually just use my phone for photos.

It did a pretty good job when they strapped it on top a gob drone and filmed with it.
