I've got my friends Phantom 4 Pro. It looks like I'm going to buy it from him. He's not sure if it's a v1 or v2. How can I tell what it is?

Btw...I own my own Mavic Pro. They are very similar machines, but I find the Phantom to give an overall better experience. I really like the controller setup and the camera is pretty awesome. As far as how it flys, the are super close in overall handling and fun factor. FWIW....

Hello there AdamD1122. Thank you for reaching out regarding the inquiry. By looking at the unit, we can distinguish the difference between the DJI Phantom 4 Pro and the DJI Phantom 4 Pro V2.0 on the top logo on the aircraft. A silvery logo is on top of Phantom 4 Pro, while a golden logo is on top of Phantom 4 Pro V2.0. We can also verify it for you, kindly PM us the serial number for us to further check. The remote controller on the V2 will have a vent on the bottom-front as it uses OcuSync 2.0 rather than Lightbridge. Also the drone should have a gold DJI sticker on the top of it - the V1 had a silver one and the V2 will have low noise props as standard.

Oh! You look on the controller....I thought you look at the drone itself. The Drone top has a silvery logo. I can't remember what's on the controller.
