Hi everyone:

I haven't been around for a while, my bad, and part of it was I crashed my spark and took a while get it fixed, and then fly.  Well, last weekend I went and took it out for the first time to fly.  did the pairing, all good between controller and Spark.  When I do the "DJI nanny" questions and link drone to account.  WELL....then I click the blue activate button, drum roll, NOTHING happens.  

Need help, my drone right now is a 300 euro paperweight that flashes. (And when DJI replaced the drone I am sure they just sent me a completely new one FYI.)

Hello Blackpaw, Thank you for reaching us out and my apologies this has caused you. Kindly follow the steps provided below on how to activate the DJI Spark.

1. Launch DJI Go 4 app and log into your DJI Account. Ensure that you have the correct user id and the password.
2. A prompt will show, that is for you to activate your Spark tap "Next"
3. Read the Terms of Use carefully, check the checkbox, and then "I Agree"
4. You can now set a name for your aircraft (You can change your aircraft's name in DJI Go 4 after activation)
5. Tap "Continue" then set your preferred Unit of Parameter.
6. Tap "Continue" and turn on "Beginner Mode"
7. Tap "Continue" and turn on "Enable Advanced Gesture Control"
8. Tap "Continue" and set a joystick mode
- You will then need to disconnect your mobile device from the Aircraft's Wi-Fi and connect it to a network with an internet connection.
9. Tap "Continue", and confirm your account.
10. Tap "Activate". disconnect your mobile device from the Internet and connect it to the aircraft's Wi-Fi.
11. Your Spark now is activated.
