Living dangerously, eh?   I've stuck my nose outdoors twice and been beaten back by torrential rain. I've given up for today, just hoping for a break in the clouds during the rest of the week.

We had some of that torrential rain with no where to shelter in the middle of a golf course,  not even on the forecast for me today.

WE !! ?? You mean, the Lady of the house went too, and got a soaking?  That's the end of your privileges for the foreseeable - especially as the painting isn't finished

Oh dear!  I shouldn't laugh () as I've had a similar experience.  It was years ago actually, but it still gets remarked on occasionally just to remind me I'll NEVER be totally forgiven.

Je viens de voir tes clichés ... ça a l'air super sympa la-bas ! ... tu as de la chance de pouvoir y aller.
J'espère que prochainement j'aurai la possibilité d'aller en Irlande ou en Ecosse faire de la photo (reflex et drone) car j'entends dire que c'est magnifique.

Tu ne le regretteras pas.  Mais en été pour l'Ecosse, faut aimer des moustiques et la pluie!

Thanks. It's just a question of finding a quiet spot with no-one around. A bit of public land on the edge of the village - that kind of thing.
