We could add these features to our Fly app but we would rather void your warranty for using any
3rd party apps that we provided the SDK for.

As stated more warranty it suits them well ;)

Dji why do you provide and SDK if you don't provide support for it?

Our Experienced users might have requirements beyond our development support, so we provide and SDK for developers to take full advantage of the Mavic Mini. As a developer you are acknowledging that the use of our SDK will void your warranty and you are fully responsible for any damage that's caused from 3rd party app's.

DJI why do you allow people to profit off your SDK and allow public sales of applications that will void users warranties?

Anyone using anything other then the Official DJI FLY App has acknowledged the void in warranty and may proceed with caution. We warn our users about the Dangers of 3rd Party Applications while simultaneously supporting these 3rd party Developers by providing the necessary resources for them to provide app's in the first place.

DJI are you aware that these "3rd Party App's" are not warning users that the use of the app will void there warranties?

We are fully aware and profit off our users inability to read or research. It's not like we own the company and could require 3rd party developers to provide a disclaimer when you start the app that by using this application you will void your warranty, but hey we love to double dip as a company so make sure you have Care Refresh so we can get you coming, during, and going. Typical CYA. Think of the liability if a user using a 3rd party app does something really bad - really bad. Who is at fault? Any good lawyer is going to go after DJI, hence the hands-off stance. It is surprising that they even have an API actually.

If the SDK functions work badly, is Dji civilly and criminally liable for the damage caused?
