Honestly, for those that do not have a drone this is a good drone then with 10km distance Ocusync 4k camera it is a pretty neat tiny drone.

Wow. Im in. That is one great upgrade. I would not have believed it could be Occusync 2.0 and under 250 grams.

I think a store broke DJI policy and released it ahead of plan like Argos did in the UK with the M2P in 2018 - though that was an accident whereas I think this is somewhat more blatant

That could very well be the case.
But still, DJI usually releases a teaser some while before the actual event.
And if stock is already shipping, they have changed something in their procedure (possibly sending out stock sooner)

it's a fake dji didn't mention it and if it's true but they sold before the scheduled date they're going to be sued and I don't think they're stupid enough to do that.

It sometimes depends on the model. This looks more like a refreshed version of the original Mini with some considerable upgrades albeit in the same body. There was no formal announcement when the Platinum was released - it just appeared on the market.

Or dji are geniuses, an advertisement that costs them zero dollars

Excellent observation, they didn't spend a penny even Best Buy gets a "jump on the customer traffic" when November 5 rolls in. The hype is real if nothing else and eventually a Mini 2 will be a reality and hopefully next week we will all know for sure
