To completely destroy the GP Hero 9 this is all DJI would have to do for the Osmo Action 2

1.  Wider field of view.   DJI we need at least 170 degrees.
2. 3.5mm Jack built in (The cynova adapter is pretty good though for most needs.)
3. RF or bluetooth remote that can sync (start and stop) multiple cameras.
4. Keep same screw on Lens System so our filters and what not will carry over.
5. Optional but not required 1" sensor.
6. Options for lower bit rates at higher resolutions.  100mb produces giant files, Match the GP bit rates and optionial add like a protune feature that woudl allow us to use
the higher bit rates if needed.
7. Fix the voice control so it works better with multiple cams, right now it's useless because if for some reason one cam stops and you say "Start" recording the other camera will "Stop" recording, whoever thought it was a good idea to stop the camera while it's already recording when it hears "Stop" might want to look for another firmware job LOL.

The remote is critical for multiple cam setups like on a boat or Kayak.

Anyone else want to add to this?

4K with lower bitrate than 100Mbits will give worse result than 2K is now. Too low bitrate will just give the video more blur

Well DJI simply needs to say what they are making Now  to the Public, they won't

I have only been using mine for a few days and here are a few things I took note of.

1: Cant double tap back screen to switch screens while recording.
2: Would like to set a designated screen to come on by default or saved to a custom preset.
3: Better focus on close up objects without  macro lense.
4: Much better battery life.
5: Wider field of view (covered by OP)
6: Night vision IR (A long shot but be the first to add it)
7: better quality mic.
8: water resistant USB C plug seal covering the whole area of the door, or replace door.
9: Bigger sensor. (covered by OP)
10: Standby mode to then turn on cam by voice.
11: Brighter Screen like GO PRO 9.12: Touch front screen.
13: Rename presets
14: Switch screen while recording with voice command.15: Better heatsink to avoid overheat warnings.

If I come across any more Il post more, but I think we are past adding to v2 as this would have been all down a while ago.

Yes they did but by hard button press only not by voice command.  Still its handy to be able to do this, not a limitation I had to endure as Iv only just got one.

so you have to edit out Switch screen, switchscreen

If they do all this now, then DJI won't be able to make versions 3, 4, and so on...

Another use for Bluethooth of RF is offer the ability for wireless microphone like they've done with the Osmo Pocket 2

I  think OA 2 be great to get that hardware added in. not the OA  this time

Yes but if they allow switching by voice command, the command will be picked up by the microphone and be heard on the finished video.

Maybe you could make use of the Grid to judge if the horizon is not levelled.

What I wish I could find in OA2?
I wish I could record GPS track for many hours from DJI App ousing my smartphone and then sync it with the videos/photos (and be able to use map layer).
I prefer to have one track that gives an idea of where I am and what's the progress of long activity than separate short track for each videos (like in GoPro)... it's quite useless for me.
This would be so awesome.

Second thing is that internal GPS antena - like every GPS antenas - need some time to get GPS fix, sometimes even 2 minutes to get correct position... and it's another piece of electronics that need some power.

Of course it would be good to have built in GPS but I would be happy to have an option to choose between internal or smartphone track recording.
