I've been having a terrble time tryng find a longer cable. I need a cable that will go with my Mavic Air 2 controler and an Ipad 5 mini. So far Amazon has failed me 3 times, DJI does't sell one. Any thoughts?

All you need is an iPhone 12 charging cable. Is Lighting to USB-C. Also, the iPad pro-second-generation charging cable is the same.

How about this one (the 11.8" size)?  I've used this length it with an iPad Pro (in the usbC-to-usbC version) and it worked great.  This link is for the usbC-to-Lightning as needed for iPad Mini gen5.

That cable is not good for the MA2 because the angle.

It should work, especially since it says specifically for the MA2. The cable I use and the original ones have 90 degree angles at each end.

If you say so but even 1 FT is not sufficient long for a iPad pro 11. You need 1.5FT.  I have that cable and the iPad mini and iPad Pro 11.

I will go with a 1.5FT cable instead.

OK, now I see what you meant. It is too short when the bend is included.

What?  The stock 6" cable has right angle ends, and even it is only about 2" short for iPad pro.  The 11.8" length works fine with iPad pro on MA2 controller, with length to spare.  

The only caveat to that is I have the iPad Pro in the stock MA2 mount, just angled with a sort of "s-hook bracket" that captures the top edge and the controller antenna block.    If using a mounting system that moves the iPad further away from the controller, perhaps a longer cable would be needed.

I am using a MavMount V4 on it. That is why I need a longer cable.

Makes sense then -- Lots of variation in how we all use this stuff.  :-)

I was suggesting that 11.8" cable for the original poster, who was asking about an iPad 5 MINI and didn't mention a mount.  The 11.8" should be fine with the iPad Mini, probably even if it is in a mount that moves it away a bit -- as there's quite a bit of extra cable, even on an iPad Pro 11", when using the "s-hook" style mount.
