Ah yes. And the house you're documenting - will that be the last construction on that plot? SO they will have a decent-sized garden when all is complete.

Nope.
They will be surrounded by other houses.
You can see in the latest video (this post) that they already built some.
This week (like in present time) the neighbours on the left also started construction.
I have to take my drone out soon before I am not allowed to fly there anymore.

In fact, this area used to be a (very small) forest with a horse meadow and an old house.
But the house burnt down (very curious since the owners were reluctant to selling it to the project developer) and it was quickly sold afterwards.....

Ground is very expensive in NL, so it is not common to be able to buy a really big piece unless you have quite some € to spare.
And this is in the congested area, so they have carefully planned these sites to maximize their 'potential' and gain as much income for the town.

This is in 2005. Google hid the older layers unfortunately (I'm sure they had more but they are gone now)



You can see they just started construction on the second part of this area.
The beautiful red circle is where 'the' house is located. (another road was made after 2005 parallel to the last one you see )

Yes, I see the other construction close by, on your series of videos, The "arson" reminds me of a similar case in the next village over from here, where we lived many years ago.  There was a church on a high point in the village which was disused. Strangely, it burnt down one night, and now the plot is given over to a small estate of exclusive houses, with magnificent views across the hills.

It used to be a lot of grass previously. And exactly my viewpoint from our highschool. So I have good memories from the cows, horses and sheep there
But as we need to expand (as a village) this area was chosen to be developed.
Luckily they chose a style that suits the village (not too modern)

Very different from 1998-2003 when they used 'ugly' modern design around here.
