Like I posted on the original thread, I received a new Mavic 2 Zoom from DJI after my fatal crash.

Here are the last 30 seconds before the crash. No editing, just an impression of the nice environment.


The main question remains, how to avoid this?

The battery came loose in the middle of the flight and the drone crashed on the rocks.
To give an idea of the area this is how Find My Drone helped me out. The blue dots in the photo are a walk of about half an hour.

Indeed. All of a sudden I received 'Connection Lost'.
The drone was about 300m away from me.

Its my biggest worry about my M2P.  Have you thought about a velcro strap around the battery?

No, but I doubt a velcro strap around the battery would made much difference?
