Is it possible to aquire still photos with the camera aiming downward (i.e. vertically, towards the bottom).
I want to acquire photos in the same way UAV do to produce orthophotos.

If you hold the body of the device horizontally, instead of vertically, then roll the gimbal downwards 90 degrees, does that not work?

I don't know. Some stabilized devices do not accept it. I guess because the gravity field is used as absolute reference. I will appreciate if one user could test it and sent a nice picture of his carpet
