In order to provide software services of higher quality and stronger stability to pilots, and to provide you with better product experiences, the DJI Fly app after v1.1.10 will not support iOS 10 and below operating systems, which means:

• DJI will no longer provide software updates or fixes for the DJI Fly app on devices running iOS 10 or below operating system.

• Versions of DJI Fly after v1.1.10 will not be compatible with devices running an iOS 10 or below operating system.

If you are using the DJI Fly app on an iOS device, we recommend that you update your operating system to iOS 11 or above so that you can use the subsequent updated DJI Fly normally. For users who still need to continue using iOS 10 devices, you can still download and use DJI Fly v1.1.10 on DJI’s official website, but you will not be able to get subsequent version updates.

This is understandable and helps DJI to ensure that the software remains lightweight, stable and free of bugs - it would be a shame to see DJI Fly go in the same direction as DJI Go 4, heavy on processing and storage space, and buggy. By keeping software lean, it remains easier to support, to evolve with new features and to avoid compromising stability by supporting legacy platforms/operating systems.

Version 1.2.0 doesn't work!  Why are there messages about the loss of communication that were not there before?  Why is the app crashing on my new iPhone?  Fix all these bugs immediately and start supporting your customers already !!!

How do other pilots manage to fly without the white semi circular navigation symbol at the bottom?

Are you in the bushiness of making drones?
Drones need a pilot with the ability to get it off the ground.
Sure add on modular movie making abilities is cool, but, to just to fly the darn things, why is it necessary for gazillions of bytes, mega os systems, and NON essential flight parameters to  get them off the ground?

Wana sell more drones?
Keep it simple for those and all who just want to fly a quality drone.
Additional optional add on capabilities is awesome also, but don't make the additional non wanted additions a requirement to just

GET IT OFF THE DAMN GROUND!
for either orchard or non orchard, state of the art, high dollar devices.

Starbird, I don't believe DJI is in the "bushiness" of making drones. Their fleet is always trimmed, and well-groomed.

Thanks for the info.  The fly app allows you to customize the actions of the two joysticks.  Is there a way to customize the gimble control?  I would like to reverse the direction as I always get it wrong from my flight simulator days.  Is there a way to change the up/down for the left/right of the gimble wheel (eg reverse the current setting)?  Also we can set the speed of pitch/yaw for each of the 3 modes but the gimble speed is the same.  Why not allow customization of that too?  i have buttery smooth pitch on cinimatic but when i move the gimble it jumps!  If not why not?
