Newbie here... is the translucent skin that covers the lower portion of the gimbal cover, the part you first slide in when attaching the gimbal cover, intended to be a part of the cover? Or is it shipping pacakaging for the cover? Thx! Bill

Thanks for the interest, I’ll have to figure out how to post a pic. It is the white-ish colored piece that goes under the gimbal. Thought it was a DJI part.

Now that I have a pic posted I’m hoping someone can tell me if this is just packaging, or not. It comes in a box labeled with the DJI logo

Yeah, that’s to stop it scratching during shipping - you can keep it on or bin it
