Correction: I looked at the Phantom case price tag...the I1 is double that.  But, still very competitive and nice!

Nice looking cases but why double the price? Just because the Inspire 1 drone is double the cost of a Phantom 3 it doesn't mean cases have to be doubled.

This is why I do not buy after market cases.

Unfortunately, because the Inspire itself is larger than the Phantom 3, the case also has to be much larger. More materials, foam, labor, etc... To give an idea, the Inspire 1 Travel Mode case is a little bit larger than the DJI blow-mold case it comes in. This and the fact it's in a Pelican case makes it more expensive.

Just arrived at my doorstep today!! Looks great. GPC Landing mode case. A MUST for check in when travelling! Not advised to check in with the stock case.

Nice Case, could you post pictures of the opened case with the I1 inside of it?

This is how it looks like sitting in the case in landing mode. Everything is organized neatly.
Quality of the case is great. The wheels are really smooth, makes travelling on the go easy. Exceeds my expectation.
Only con is the case is huge. I will highly recommend the Landing mode case to the Travel mode case if your space allows.
Cuts the setup and after-flight time to mininium.

just want it to share my custom HPRC 2730 case in landing mode, the reason I went for this case because I want the smallest footprint in landing mode.

Just received my case from Silver State Case Company in Las Vegas, Andy Coverstone , one of the owners was a pleasure to work with. Case is of course a Pelican Storm Case, The lazer cut foam with the red top fits everything I wanted to put in it very securely, yet very easy to remove. Have them working on a battery case that will hold 6 batts with a cavernous storage in the middle .. Yes they are pricey, but I personally have over $6,000 invested and when I travel I want / need this equipment to be dry and secure. Well worth the cost!!
