I received the FW updates for batteries, the drone, the controller and the DJI Fly app. When are we able to activate the Mini 2. I still cannot activate (9pm EST).

Hi there, please ensure the DJI Fly app is updated to v1.2.0, and try to restart the drone and activate again.

No go. The app version is right .. all firmware's have updated. It knows the drone is there .. just won't activate it.

Edit: seems others also cannot activate.

I am in the same boat. App updated, firmware updated. Error code 1112.. First DJI product for me, not the best experience so far lol.

Once it comes online, it will be the best experience! The M1 has been GREAT! This should be better.

The biggest issues I hear about with drones are fly aways (wind) and crashes (due to low battery, birds, obstacles, radio issues). If you do not have UAV Forecast, get it. This has been perhaps the tool I use the most. It tells you the wind at different elevations, etc. I set my max wind to 19mph and height, I change all the time. You should never fly above 400' AGL (above ground level). While learning, you should never go above 50'. Another tool I use alot is B4UFly - open it, read it, understand it. The red zones, you absolutely cannot fly in - and the drone actually won't go there. B4UFly tells you where you are and about the area around you. It shows you where you can fly and where you cannot and where you need authorization.

Reinstall Dji fly  app ....... and solve it

Activation went live at 8pm PST. Reinstalling the app had nothing to do with it.

DJI had everything set to coordinate with their announcement. I tried all day yesterday to purchase my Mini 2 but it took until the announcement was made by DJI until I could see that best Buy had them available!

Does DJI operate with black friday or Singles day sales for the European market?
Looking into getting my first DJI product. Air2 or Mini2
Got some older GPS-quads from the likes of 2018 and 2019 like Zino and FIMI X8.
the Zino did impress me when you have the price of 220USD in mind. (4K / 56mbps)
The FIMI X8 v1 not so much, hence misalign sensor and uneven sharpness which are not ideal for a product that was +150USD higher then Zino..
It looks like the prices has incread a tad on Mini2 and it ain't just currency anymore variable' like with the Mini1 that were 399USD to 399Euro here in northern Europe.
But instead, NA pricing on Mini2 is 419USD (CAN) 449USD (US) and around 480Euro in Europe, and 619euro for the Combo package.
the Mavic Air2 is around 760USD (635Euro) and 970USD (800euro)  for the combo from wholesalers, so around 150 to 180euro difference between Air2 and Mini2 from an EU perspective late 2020.
Are there any hardware revisions on the Mini2 or is it simply software-region dependant and hardware is the same across the globe.

Looking forward to BF or singles day, and which that would make the most sense to go for.

Hi. I have updated the latest firmware. I am a mavic air 2 user and a mavic mini. The issue is now, when I flew a few metres, kept going up the notification of interference signals. Please fix this problem with this updates to make me fly as far as before. Thank you.

Update broke my Mavic air 2. Last time I flew all was good. Put the camera cover on and put it away. Updated today and tried to fly and my camera isn't working. It will not update video or pics  to my phone and is generally really delayed with gimbal inputs. I've restarted the app, my phone, and the drone several times and it sill is not workng.

Many people report signal loss and crashes with mavi mini after the last dji fly update.
I've also made the update but i would like to rollback to previous version of the app until these glitches are sorted out.
Can you help me with an app rollback?

Old DJI user here ( 7 drones and counting) had my new mini 2 out for first time today. running new update for first flights. First flight was mainly video no problems at all. However second battery was a mainly photo session and about 5 minutes into the flight the video feed went black. Screen also crashed back to start page of dji fly app. I clicked connect to aircraft where it showed connected but screen still black. I initiated a return to home using the controller only and started recording video in app to see where the problem was located. While it was returning home I closed dji fly completely and restarted it. Again showed connected but black screen. Drone returned ok as i landed it line of sight. I tried restarting drone again screen was black. I then turned off transmitter and then restarted and the video feed came back on straight away.
So appears to be a problem with the DJI controller possibly the new firmware update. On landing the battery said it needed an update, i checked the 3rd battery it too asked for an update. Tried battery 1 that had already flown and it did not need an update.
Using a Samsung galaxy note 9

I suspect transmitter based on process of elimination any ideas?

Cool firmware update

After updating to RC V02.00.1101 the remote is giving random connection errors which causes the Mavic Air 2 to be uncontrollable.
Multiple videos that the drone did RTH but was hovering untill the battery was empty. No way to reconnect to the drone during flight.
This can cause really dangerous situations. Please fix this problem.

I’m not able to customise the Function Button, both option are re centre gimbal, any suggestions (Android phone)

After the update i get the "Aircraft Signal Interference" and the drone is right next to me.. Fix this DJI, respect your customers!!!

Your recent update to 1.2.0 is flawed! You will now receive countless claims for Minis flying away and loss of signal even within close proximity. You will now have countless reviewers like myself placing a bad image on your products just as GoPro has on their products.

You have been informed in many ways by hundreds of MM1 owners via email, Amazon, and Google app reviews that hold your devs responsible for your error in the application. There has been NO response by your reps in regards to these claims and will now have to find a way to compensate.

Now the recent update as well to Mini 2 is beginning to see issues as well with connectivity to rc. Good luck!

I just purchased my new  Mavic mini 2 today and I can't fly it keeps giving me IMU calibration errors I've calibrated several times says success but still keeps giving error??anyone else having this issue?

my mavic mini was working like a charm after this update while flying the video feed become choky like it has bad reception unusable the drone fly's greats records great strange indoors works great the moment I go outdoors it acquires GPS updates home point the inflying video feed gets awful anione else with this issue any work around?? Help please? Can i downgrade to previous version off app??anione has a fix DM me please?

For me the image freeze when I try to record a video in 4k, only in 4k, any ideas? If I change the trassmision to 5.8 instead of dual-band the image come back, but it still freeze a few second when I press the rec button. Any Ideas? I will try to upload a video tomorrow.

Hey guys, since upgrading from the Mavic mini to mini 2 the display on the fly app turns green when I take off, any ideas?
