Do the batteries get updates as well?

Wow i gave up flying for a few years because my p34k had disconnects issues and had to register it.
now i have a mini 2 on order, wtf is this going to be a hear i go again.
I had so much hope for this one, but.
Should i not open it and send it back ?

Are there plans to add more features...I love this little guy but in doing some research I found that there are third party apps that really up the game with added features like follow me, way points,  hyper laps ect..I would like to see those in the dji app and not have to go to a third party app.

What is this feature and where does it hide?

I think you will be up to date.
Apparently it takes a while before you are prompted. And I did not wait that long the first time.

A new firmware for the drone has been released - 01/01/0700. It was interesting to cure the stability of freezing, straight-line movement and a bug with IMU.
Of the changes, only bug fixes:
Unlocking new geofences;
Improved flight stability under interference conditions;
Fixed a bug with the inability to take off in some situations.
DJI Fly does not offer you a new firmware. You need to click on the "Drone firmware" item in the information menu. On off. Forum also has no information.

Look like the new firmware also allowed you to record video and capture photo without the SD card. It will capture/record and stored in the phone.

Where is the Hyperlapse Mode..... just advert???

I only had time for a few short quick test flights since launch date and now after some update, I go for the first real voyage and I'm losing signal after about 100 - 200 feet away.  It does engage the return to home and the signal returns within a few seconds and displays the error ' The camera restarted abnormally...'.  

Is this a known issue or is my Mini 2 just broken?

Today while using Fly 1.2.2 iOS I went to test RTH as I was intending to fly with the wind, when I initiated RTH even tho I had 24 - 25 satellites locked the Mini 2 advised Atti Mode! I tried this twice and on both occasions Atti Mode was advised (not sure if it actually went into Atti Mode because the AC seems stable).  Anybody else witness this bug?

Wow this is crazy!  At the exact moment you get the ATTI Mode warning it still displays 25 satellites locked!  :O

Out of curiosity, are you using the iOS or Android DJI Fly app?

Hi, it’s iOS. There are a number of members on the Mavic pilots forum also witnessing this behaviour, it’s certainly not true Atti behaviour

My mini2 controller started constant beeping "beep beep beep..." after the firmware update. Then I updated battery fw. After few restarts the controller beeping is gone. Should I be worried because of those beeping? Drone is almost new.

Can you please add a custom AEB of 5-7 photos or at least make the steps 1 ¹/² stops apart? The current setting is not enough for hdr requiring to do it manually witch takes longer and allows more movement causing more work in alignment in hdr merge...the attached photos where taken manually with 5 manual exposure shots

Estoy intentando actualizar el firmware del mini2 y no me aparece la versión actual, en su lugar pone N/A.
Hay alguna solución para poder actualizar o resetear el dji mini2?

My DJI Mini 2 doesn't pair with my remote control anymore. Have been using it since 6 months without any issues until recently i get blinking yellow lights and upon long pressing the power button for 4 seconds or more. there is no beep sound and the aircraft doesn't go in pairing mode. able to power on/off . updated to latest firmware connecting to DJI Assistant 2 but still the aircraft wouldn't connect. Please help
