Hello everyone!
I own a Mavic Mini (without Ocusync) and a Mini 2 (with Ocusync). I can fly both drones with my Avegant Glyph FPV headset. I have read numerous posts about if or when the Mini 2 (with Ocusync) will get DJI FPV headset and DJI Smart Controller support. Maybe I missed something and now it is, but as far as I know, it's not supported at the moment.
How do I achieve a decent FPV connection between my Mavic Mini and Mini 2 with the Avegant Glyph?
- I run the DJI Fly app on my Note 20 Ultra 5G and connect the app, controller, and aircraft.
- Then I use a small battery pack to power a Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter that I can connect to my Avegant Glyph.
- Finally, I open the Android drop down menu, activate "Smart View" (Samsung's name for a wireless display connection), and connect to the Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter.
Everything then displays, with low latency, on my Avegant Glyph. I can fly the Mavic Mini around all kinds of interference unaffected. |
