that's unfortunately right, my hope to get RAW photos is gone...

TBH it has had a lot added since release. People still want raw and follow me. But look, DJI does not think it is important. They went for more wind fighting capability and longer range.

Hahahaha - don't worry, we won't see a Mavic Air 3 this side of 2022 IMO. BUT - we may very well see a Mavic 3 series well before then though don't expect much change out of two grand

other models have 2 years cycle... MM was only a public beta... everything what was in feature requests for MM is in M2 :-)

With the restrictions in France I never think to buy a pro version weighing more than 800g. The MA2 will be fine it is you who told me ;) I trust you, buddy

yes, but it doesn't make much difference, just flying over people.
It is no longer CO category for France for other European countries I don't know too much

Um - yes it is. Neither are CE classified drones but that doesn't make any difference anyway as both weigh <250g and may be flown in the A1 subcategory indefinitely as A1 legacy drones under the pending EASA regs. The Mini 2 also clearly meets the CE standards to be sold within the EEA - which is why I can buy it right now in the UK if I wish.

I'm a very careful person. I do fly it to seen and tjrs in clear places. And if an accident happens the drone will be over for me I'm unfortunately not rich lol

frankly I'm very happy it is very often updated with no new addition, recently I did a flight (in the mountains) of 8 km with the wind at more than 45 km / h without any problems the images in 4k really well and the photos in RAW is really a plus. that's why it's a good complement with the MINI

yes I'm not saying otherwise and it will always fly.
But future updates will no longer be for the Mavic Mini

To heck with RIP as long as it works you can keep flying it. Otherwise thousands of Phantom etc pilots would crying in their sleep.

It is not always the case, but it is likely most updates will be for MM2
