Any regrets selling up mate?

Yes and no.
It would have been a perfect afternoon for flying.
But I'm happy I sold it now so I don't have to think about registration and examination, plus it was really on its last legs (the gimbal / camera acted weird from time to time) which made me wonder when it would stop completely.
I told the buyer about it, he did not mind. He said it was very well possible his son would fly it into a tree or something before it would wear out on its own
And the price was right for it too.
Also the batteries were getting a bit lazy and well over their 'supported' lifetime.
Not like broken, but getting older.

So no, I don't mind selling it and yes, I do want a new one someday

Looking forward to seeing some of your new stills when you get back

Sadly I ran out of time,  got side tracked here and then left late and got to where I was going to fly as the heavens opened with rain.

Sadly I got rained off,  walked 3 miles to the spot only for the heavens to open with another 6 miles to go.

I must admit, I did feel a sense of relief selling the MA2 knowing what laws, rules and regs are around the corner so totally understand how you feel. I'm so pleased the Mini 2 will not be affected by them - in fact, I'm looking forward to them coming into force now as I can fly over people

I probably could have pushed it further, but given the fact that it had some issues and many miles of history, it felt better this way.

He just wanted to get up with a 'cheap' drone and learn how to fly!

You are advised to unfold the props before take off - that actually applies to all DJI Mavic's and the Mini 2 is no exception. It's to do with centrifugal force.
