This flight started using device with Android 1.2.0, landed MM, switched to a device on wich 1.1.9 is installed....

Batt cell values not visual on 1.2.0, and visible on .9.

Hope that DJI will repair this for Android, as in the iOS version batt values are seen.

I flew the MA2 yesterday with 1.2.0 for the 1st time and has a lot of video lag, up to 10 seconds. I turned off histogram and exposure warning and it went away. Still, I want to keep those on.

GaryDoug great information.  I always fly with the histogram visible.  Deleting the App and reinstalling it worked to resolve the video lag for me .   But if it happens again I will disable the histogram.  

Apparently some apps on both IOS and Android are not properly purging files from the hierarchy when updating.  This results in malingering code.

Independent of the lag issue which I was able to resolve, there have been two controller updates rolled out this week for the Mavic Air 2.  The first 11/5 caused strange flight telemetry and altitude issues.  The second 11/7 resolved this issue.

No, you can generally switch off the Google Play auto update or just the update of individual apps or auto update with the exclusion of individual apps.

Yes, i've cancelled the auto update now and returned via APK to 1.1.10. Works fine. Now awaiting the DJI bug fixes in 1.2.0.

After two months of not using the Mavic Mini, today I automatically updated the version 1.2.0 of the fly app and I constantly had problems with weak signal and continuous disconnection.  The strangest thing that happened to me is that with the remote control signal disconnected, screen with fixed image, the automatic return both from the remote control and from the app was not possible, but the commands from the Sticks took them, and in fact I was able to make him land manually because  I was flying on sight.
  I think DJI is not doing well, it almost seems to be doing everything to get the owners of the mini 1 bored to entice them to buy the 2.  launched in Mini 2 to sale ..... Makes me think!  It is happening to many users in Italy, I think we will soon make a group to all complain against Dji because we must be protected even if we have the now old version of the Mini.

I used 4 batteries today to test 1.2.0 and 1.1.0. with my  Mini 1.

Same flight paths and all , I never experienced disconnects or week signals but the version 1.1.0 is definitely more fluid and has less video lag .. that's a full hour in the air doing the same thing repeatedly.  1.1.0 is better and I will stick with this version.

I have issue with fpv screen become green after drone lost connection and reconnect again using 1.2.0 on my redmi note 9 (I forgot to screenshot) and yeah the weak or signal interference warning does not disappear too, so annoying!
rolling back to 1.1.10

I have the same troubles with my Mini 1 and APP (1.2.0)...Freezing of warings and green screen after reconnect...

I join this post: Mavic Air 2 after update to 1.2.0 doesn't transmit video in full HD but only 1280x720 and also cache video has been reduced to this size. There's no option to get the full hd feature back, which was useful to share part of the footage with decent quality without having to download the full video. This feature must be back.

I have been watching this thread with interest.  I updated both my Android (what I normally fly with) and my @#$%&* iPhone with 1.2.0 last week, but have not been flying with it yet - This is Christmas Light Show setup season, so almost all available time goes into that for a couple weeks.  Gonna try to get up after work today.  I do have the 889 update version.

Same issue here. Weak signal / aircraft interference out in the middle of nowhere with no power lines or other wifi devices for at least a few km’s.

Also could not exceed more than 400m before losing video, direct line off site.

I had much better performance before.

They are doing everything to make us spend money to buy the Mini 2. It is not correct on the part of the DJI I am very disappointed and in Italy there are many who are.  Everyone has switched to the old version of the application, as long as we can fly we continue like this, then we switch to another brand.

There is sence in your opinion, because their support suggested to send them the drone in order to make repair. It's so funny to repair fully normal drone which can't fly normal by their own stupid Fly app.

EDIT: That's not an issue, i just update app to the last one(again!) and chn mode was on Auto so that's not a problem

After using fly app with the MM, I will never buy another DJI drone that uses fly app again.  The design just sucks overall.

go for Litchi, no problems with that, they have beta testers, and the final version is good!

Just for the record I had the same problem as well during the weekend. Weak signal and interruptions, flying around in the local park. The app was working fine in the previous version, how did they manage to f*** it up I don't know lol.
Due to lockdown I will not fly the Mini soon. So I hope they will sort it out in some point :-)

Have also the same error message in my 1.2.0 version when I fly with my Mavic Mini.
Weak signal is showing on display and not go away even when the drone is coming back to me.

Please DJI, resolve the problem and give us a reliable version that works with our old nice Mavic Mini.

Not good since i upgraded to the mini 2 from the mavic mini, first upgraded to 1.2.0 and now as soon as i start the propellers the screen has a green tint on phone and tablet, anyone else had this? the phone and tablet worked fine with the mavic mini 1 and older version of the fly app. Not a good start with a new drone. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app.
