It is clear that the first one is much better.
Not sure if it is just a better cinematic skillset, post production or a combination of both.

From the second video posted here, I see that zoom is available using the slider at the right of the screen, not just with the control stick - I don't recall anyone mentioning that before.  Logiical, though.  Presumably affected by the setting for either zoom or tilt?  Ideally it would be good to have a way of tilt AND zoom always being readily available.  Maybe there is...

I'm starting to wonder whether the P2 over-exposes slightly in night scenes - the P1 perhaps crushes blacks a bit, but depending on your taste. maybe the looks better in some scenes.  But if you want to see a black cat in a coal cellar, the P2 is the one.

I see Philip Bloom has used a Pocket 2 for some low light (not night as such) shots in this video - he labels the parts on-screen - I wonder whether he will review it in due course.

It is even hard to believe the P2 made it in the first place.
When you compare it to footage others are making.

I have some doubts about this example.
It is almost 'too good to be true'.
It is stated to be DJI P2 footage, but when I compare it to other low light examples it is so very crisp and noise free. I find it hard to believe.
BUT maybe with the right hands and post processing you can get this out of the P2.
Too bad he did not share his workflow.

Just started a new renovation project in our storage room (that doubles as my workspace)
It is just a single brick wall with no insulation so it gets very cold in the winter.
I had to make room for the stuff we keep there, so that is why I renovated the attic of the garage this summer.
Now there is room in the garage, so the stuff can be moved there.
Also, I have been planing the refurbished oak floor yesterday evening that was stored in the attic of our home.
This floor will be put in the renovated room and looks super nice now.
And because that is gone now, I could use that space to make a new play room for the kids and use their old one as my new workplace. (I don't want to work on the attic, as it is too far from wifi points and has a very narrow staircase that will be hard to move up continuously .)
So when the storage room is empty, I can start the work there.
Big improvement for the house (and it will be a joy to work there)

Anyhow, no time to play around with toys for some months, so I will wait for a good discount at least.
