What’s New?

• Added support so the remote controller can also be used with DJI Mini 2. It is recommended to use the remote controller with DJI Fly v1.2.0 or above.
• Updated default RTH altitude to 100 m.
• Optimized Downward Vision System by increasing the altitude limit to 30 m when the aircraft is only using Downward Vision System for positioning.
• Optimized logic of rotational speed of fan after powering on in order to reduce noise and power consumption.
• Optimized detection and app alert when propellers are unfolded.

Thanks for the update! But 5.8GHz mode is still not available in the settings in Ukraine. Do you have plans to add it as for mavic mini?

Here in the US I'm still getting 340 as the current aircraft firmware when I tap Check for Updates in the About menu.  And I'm not being prompted to update the firmware on the Home page of the Fly app.

any issues to be aware of?

I updated my MA2 to this FW and if I use "HD" transmission mode, I get frozen or no video at all.   That said I do get fewer frame drops/pixelation with "Smooth" mode but "HD" mode is broken.
Edit:
Nevermind.  I turned off controller, drone and rebooted phone and all working again.

An FW update to resolve bugs and small details.
We are waiting for a new FW with new features!

Performed perfectly on all three flights (iOS 14.2 - iPhone XS)

Hi carried out update, but when changing from autonto manual camera settings i get low light warning and can hardly see image. Changing shutter speed doesnt resolve issue

Installed latest firmware this morning and took a test flight.  Detected NO issues at all.   Thanks DJI.

installed few hours ago, just tested, the problem remains...to add more my mobile phone is not  compatible now but it was before the problem started... huawei mate 10 lite...

Trying to turnback firmware to earlier version. Dji assistant only shows newest version. How do i get previous version?

I updated to thew firmware and refreshed the controler via pc then uninstalled 1.20 app on Android.  I reinstalled the app and connected drone.  before I flew I re linked controller and rebooted both rc and drone.  I then calibrated the drone as well as imu.  I rebooted both drone and rc.  I took off and same ... drone rth after 30 ft.  using samsung note 10 plus

I have the same problem reported by Dirtfishingman.

I upgraded today the MA2 Firmware to V01.00.0460. Killed my MA2! - BIG MISTAKE

My MA2 gets DISCONNECTED, Signal Lost and Auto RTH activated. DIstance was not more then 100m

I rolled back the DJI Fly version to 1.1.19 - same problem.

Tried to downgrade the Aircraft Firmware - No option - only current

PLEASE HELP!!! DJI MUST ENABLE TO ROLLBACK THE FIRMWARE VERSION UNTIL FIXING THEIR BUGS!!

Yes updated the firmware and did a clean install of the app off the play store. Then calibrated imu and GPS. Took a flight and it went south real quick. 30ft away and it went to RTH. Went inside to see of I can roll back the software and in DJI assistant there was no option to roll back just the current software.

So I refreshed the RC and drone. Then on the phone I uninstalled the Fly 1.2.0 and and downloaded it again.

Took a flight around and seems to be good but this is just 1 flight I guess time will tell.

I'm on a Samsung note 10+ and using 1.2.0 app

UPDATE:

I refreshed the FW, RC, and DJI Fly (uninstall, restart tablet and reinstall).

Flights this morning looks OK. I Will report if problems re-occur.

The major problem for me now is my loss of confidence with the drone.... Hope it will improve back..

I got problems with that update with my Mavic Mini 1. The Video Signal is totally unstable. After a few meters it's not usable anymore. So I didn't see where I fly. Its just video signal, control signal is fine. Before the update of the App every thing was fine, so there is a failure within the new version.

Yeah actually, a lot! The return to home is now terribly inaccurate! I'm get interference that I never had before, and I lost video feed at 2000ft away. Makes me mad. It was fine. Now it acts like the mini 2. And that really makes me mad. Also you will have no control over it when returning home is activated, at all. Way to go DJI!!!!

Hi, it's little starts confusing bought mavic air 2 happy works fine came update make transmision problems, then came again update problem solved, now today update disaster avoiding sensors not working properly, transmision disaster adding video this in photo mode in hd transmision mode delay, then swich back to smooth mode disaster can see nothing sorry couldn't put video in this forum if it's gona Al the time bringing to the shop back

I have Samsung S20 and Huawei P20, from different operators. Samsgung has already received a 92mb update and moved to version 1.2.1. The P20 received nothing.
Tomorrow it rains, Sunday maybe he will lift the drone close to home.

Latest firmware update
One thing I  noticed is that when you initialize the mav air 2 and the controller,(get ready to fly) is there is some times a lag time several seconds to almost 45 seconds until the video showes up. Screen stays black for several seconds and then shows up.

After last update it takes a while for the video to show up on the screen while you are doing preflight check/setup. Some times the screen stays black for 20- 45 seconds during preflight
