YES!

I have Ronin S as well and it is relatively easy to install adapter on top of the DJI's plate. But it does not work with RS 2 at all.

I told Smallrig to do this a while ago.  They've recently made a 501 style plate w/ an arca swiss quick release clamp built in.

Dear DJI and Fellow DJI Ronin RS2 experts:  :   

It's Juan Patino here in NYC devastated to discover the new Ronin RS2 proprietary mounting plate VS "Manfrotto 323 (Quick Release Plate)"  :  "Manfrotto 200PL Quick Release Plate" incompatibility.  We are so frustrated and shocked by this.  I rely heavily on the Manfrotto 323 / Manfrotto 200PL quick release system to move my Sony's quickly in between my old Ronin S and jump to multiple different tripods and their Manfrotto 323 on each one.  The Manfrotto system is my ecosystem across multiple rigs.  
We joyously committed to the stunning new RS2 but cannot figure out how to get my Manfrotto 323 quick release plates to work or modify on my new Ronin RS2.  Someone must have found a workaround?   I pray one of you has found a solution or workaround by now.  Please help!

Hello did someone find a Solution ? I have the same issue with my RSC2. I cannot add my RC2 323 from Manfrotto and it is a big pain in the A**.
I Bought a 3158 from Smallrig to attach my quick release to it But the way it is manufactured, I have no access to the locking gear anymore for the plate on the RSC2.

Please tell me one of you guys was smarter than me ?

i can't speak for the RSC-2 as it works fine on my RS-2 with the smallrig plates 3158 and 3031

I would love to try and find a solution to this issue as well. I use my Manfrotto Quick Release on everything. And now it's not an option for this? So disappointing....

This did a pretty good job of taking care of a lot of problems of manfrotto plate that I had ....including how to mount the 3dFocus module under the lens
