This is predominantly sheep country, and the farm in the lee of Bleaklow is no exception.
You have to look closely from this height - but they're there, dotted all over the landscape

Thanks. Yes that was a shot from the earlier part of the flight. Clouds were drifting towards the point of view, and later on the hills were in full sun.

Thanks !  The sheep are there, but at that height they're a bit hard to spot. Local farmers supplying local butchers. Minimal carbon footprint.

You'd be welcome   I don't know American preferences for this meat, but here it's Lamb the tenderest, then one-year we call Hogget, and at two years it's mutton, each with progressively stronger tastes. Mutton is generally for stews.

Lamb is pretty tasty. Not everyone likes it but I do. I like mine medium rare.

Yep - free range sheep, on a SMALLholding
