Crashed my Phantom 4 Pro but came across a Phantom 3. Am unable to link the Phantom 3 to the Phantom 4 controller. Followed procedures and repeated multiple times to no avail. Controller looks fine (blue light blinking, app does the countdown, etc). Pressing the link button for two seconds, light is red. Tried both with and without a cable between the two.
Any ideas? Thanks!

If the Drone is not connected to the Remote Controller you will have to select the model manually.

well wait ,Phantom 4 controller is compatible with Phantom 3 Pro Drone .......  not the Phantom 4 Pro Controller

Hello there. I am sorry for the trouble this has caused and thank you for reaching out. As JetSam posted on post #4 I am sorry to say that the DJI Phantom 4 remote controller is not compatible with the DJI Phantom  3 series drones. Again, I am sorry and thank you for your understanding.
