I got to the Tallgrass Preserve about 2 hours later than I had in mind, so I had time for a short hike before sunset.

Wow, the temperature dropped 16 degrees (9C) while I was out. Should have taken a heaver jacket.

I got home in time for some supper and Thursday Night Live with Ken Heron.

I can see how the temperature would drop out there, TT. And the soles of your feet must be like leather by now, walking barefoot over that rough terrain

Never had soft feet 'cause I did not stop going barefoot from childhood.
