So, I made some tests on the new Fly App 1.2.1

I re-installed the Mini's RC and drone firmwares, re-linked RC and the drone, re-callibrate the compass and IMU. I found the field near my native city (withot any powerlines, etc). I took Honor 8x (you know DJI, it's the unit from your fucking list), delete all app data concerning Fly, installed the new Fly App 1.2.1 and started the flight. After the take off, almost 30 meters from my location I got "Weak signal message" and then FPV signal lost!!! I was in anger! So, then I took the iPhone XR with Fly App 1.2.1 (you know DJI, it's the unit from your fucking list) and the same situation, and more over, I got message "The connection is lost". So, I came to conclusion that Fly App 1.2.1 is the worst update ever (since 1.2.0).
Then I delete this awful 1.2.1 and install 1.1.10. And you know what? Everything went well, my copter didn't show any problems.

Dear DJI, I hope you finally fire your App developers. Good luck!

it looks that i made a nice choice downgrading to 1.1.9 ,like i told on another post, there's not reason to upgrade according that they didn't make any major new feature for Mavic Mini 1

Yep, understand you. Before the Christmas going to buy my next drone and it would be not DJI. They are not reliable anymore.

I also just finished my tests wit APP 1.2.1 (2046057) and my opinion is not as bad as colleague Berhatz. I did my tests not in urban area to be clear and mainly with 5.8 Ghz. Firstly I need write what definitely is still not solve my friends from DJI, so "green sreen" after reconnect drone (for instance during RTH view back is green). You really need improve it as in previous version I never had such problem. If about range is not perfect but also  there is no tragedy (first week signal warning after 400 meters, and range 800 meters - 5.8 Ghz ).I will back with more tests soon...

5.8 Ghz is better than standard CE mode. But I compare two versions in CE mode, that’s the point.

I've tested 1.2.1 today and I agree with you. Dji's software developing is so poor. I have no words to say...This is the last drone from DJI.

it‘s a pity, because the version before 1.2.0 had the best
wifi transmission so far!

I need add some informations....I just checked my details from previos flights (with APP 1.1.10) and honestly new update (1.2.1) is not even in half as good as this "old" version. Guys form DJI please back to usability of version 1.1.10 as it was much better then 1.20 and 1.2.1.

Was in 1.1.10 - ( 5.8 Ghz) - any week signal warnings till about 850 meters(near building and LTE tower) and what is now in 1.2.1, first warning of week signal after about 400 meters (over the fields , not buildings !!!). Dear DJI guys we really need utility of version 1.1.0

Fortunately my unapproved tablet will not automatically update the app, so I am still at 1.2.0 and that works fine for me.
