As of the moment the iPhone 12 max is not yet recommended for the DJI Osmo Mobile 3 and for the DJI Mimo application but rest assured that our DJI R&D Team are continuously testing multiple devices to be added on the DJI Osmo Mobile 3 recommended mobile device list in the future.
